Where to buy Local?
This section is always under review, so please Email us if you stock or sell local produce in the Bundaberg region.
Lavish Flowers, Bargara Rd, Bundaberg- stocking a great selection of locally made dips and pates, lettuces, Childers eggs, a small selection of small goods and so much more! With new product lines changing weekly, this could just well be the mandatory stop on the way home from work.
Sticky Beaks Restaurant, Apple Tree Creek- not only do they create a gourmet range of pizzas, though they stock and create an amazing range of relishes, jams and chutneys Max and Patricia are always creating new flavour sensations and are proud supporters of the regions growers and producers. Don’t just drive past, call in and dine!!
I Love Bundaberg, this website is more than just info, it has been inspired by the local community and therefore the secrets of where to eat, where to buy and what to do are all made easy. Check it out: http://www.ilovebundaberg.com/Dining
Robin’s Kitchen, Bundaberg- After recently introducing myself to the team at Robin’s Kitchen in Sugarland Shopping centre, they have gone out of their way to help stock Food For Fork with all the necessary utensils and mandatory implements. They have been very easy to work with and would recommend that if you are looking to expand your kitchens tool cupboard, then call in and meet Joann and the team or jump online at www.robinskitchen.com.au
Barritt’s Butchers, Svensson Street, Bundaberg- These guys just know how to prepare meat, they are a great resource when it comes to trying different things and have won numerous awards for their Bacon, Sausages and other mixed cuts. Ask them about their “Something Different” range. They stock Quail, Duck, Croccodile, Atlantic Salmon and a the list goes on.
Claxton Olives, GinGin- John and Mary certainly have a way with olives and their passion for processing these classic ingredients come together as Tapenades, Cholli paste, Olive Leaf Capsules and Olive Tea and an ever expansive list products that you will see at one of the markets that they frequent.
